HABER 800 gaff sloop is a comfortable sailing yacht for inland-, coastal-, and offshore navigation.

Characteristic for all HABERs, the HABER 800 sloop has a spacious cabin with 5 berths. 1,90 m head room, a separate forepeak and head, a practical galley and plenty of stowage space. All this ensures a level of comfort you will not find in other yachts this size.

The easy-to-operate and efficient gaff sails (Gunter type) give the yacht very good nautical properties. The gaff mainsail is hoisted with only one halyard. Thanks to a special mast lovering system, developed by HABER Yachts, the mast can be lowered and raised again in about 15 minutes by only one person. On request, an additional storm head sail, with corresponding fore stay and shrouds, can be added to the rig.

The stability profile of the HABER 800 is very unusual – the yacht can righten itself from any heel, the 180-degree heel included. This is the so-called tumbler-toy effect. Auxiliary propulsion is provided for by an inboard Diesel engines with power ranging from 10 to 21 hp. We have also developed a self steering system that works with a set of four centre boards, allowing full course stability - the C4 system, which is available as an option.

Together, these features make the HABER 800 gaff sloop a unique and comfortable yacht with a shallow draft. The yacht holds the CE certificates in two design categories – C (coastal navigation) and B (offshore navigation).
