The HABER 660 cutter was created as a result of the development work of the HABER 660 slup.
The HABER 660 gaff cutter (Gunter rig type), is a center-board-sailing-yacht intended for inland, coastal and offshore navigation. The yacht has very good nautical properties and has great seaworthiness. The yacht is available in the CE-category C for coastal navigation or in the category B for offshore navigation.
The mainsail is lifted with one halyard, which guarantees easy operation. The mast extends 1.6 m beyond the transom when lowered, which can easily be done by one person.
The additional head sail of the cutter version of the HABER 660, provide more possibilities for variation of the sail area in comparison to the sloop version. Instead of a 9 m² genoa (sloop), the cutter has a 6 m² jib and a 12 m² genoa. This increases the flexibility in choosing the sails according to changes in wind conditions. And it makes the boat look even more graceful.
HABER 660 is available with the C4 self-steering system.
