HABER 33 Reporter
HABER 33 Reporter – a way of life!
The HABER 33 Reporter is a yacht that guarantees safety and comfort for a four-person crew and convenient navigation for seven people on deck (7 berths). Up to 14 people can be on board at the same time. The HABER 33 Reporter is a modern yacht built according to classic and proven methods. It is an exceptionally firm construction. The bottom of the hull is reinforced with firm stringers and transverses creating a very sturdy hull grid.
It is designed for cruising on inland waters, as well as on sheltered and coastal waters.
The half decks and the bow deck, which are easily accessible from the cockpit, ensure effective communication and safe work on the deck. It is especially important during manoeuvres in harbours and while passing through locks.
The high superstructure with a long railing on the roof increases safety. The large, flat roof can be used for relaxing or sunbathing, and it can even accomodate an additional helmsman’s position if wanted.
Owing to the spacious, high and glazed superstructure (10 large, panoramic windows in standard ) it is possible to live a comfortable life on the Reporter. Lovers of nature and beautiful views can enjoy natural surroundings of the yacht almost like in a cinema, with a glass of wine, without the necessity of going out on the deck. The 2 meter high interior is all in one level – no steps between cabins. We call it “One level living space”. A practical and comfortable solution, also for elderly or disabled persons. Heating and air conditioning are available as an option. Up to 8 persons can be seated around the large saloon table.
In the forepeak there is a double bed and, optionally, a separate toilet. The aft cabin features a small wardrobe and a double bed. Additionally, three more people can sleep in the saloon, thanks to one folding-, and one single berth. Under the berths there is ample and easily accessible room for storing personal belongings and supplies. Fuel tanks, drinking and waste water tanks are accommodated under the cabin floor.
In the HABER 33 Reporter there is a head with a separate shower, next to which there is a small wardrobe for clothes. Opposite you will find a galley with a kitchen table, a two-burner cooker, a fridge and a sink. Spacious drawers, and compartments are a given thing. The companionway leads out to a comfortable cockpit with a folding table and seatings for 4 persons. The transom door with a sill only 20 cm above the water line, enables easy access to the land. The transom and the companion way, can be adopted to the use of wheel chairs.
HABER 33 Reporter is characterized by exceptional maneuverability – it is possible to perform a 360° turn on the spot, even without using the bow thruster, which is in standard anyway.
Three basic propulsion systems are offered for the HABER 33 Reporter.
Two systems are designed for the displacement version of the yacht:
1. A diesel engine with a shaft line with power from 13 to 38 hp engine under the floor in the cockpit. It gives great savings in fuel consumption and a spacious cockpit. In this version, the yacht has a long and shallow keel, with a draft of draft 0.57 m.
2. A high thrust, gasoline outboard engine (power from 15 to 60 hp), with a high thrust propeller. In this version, the yacht can have a long shallow keel (0.57 m draft) or a system with side boards and stern boards (draft 0.3/0.8 m). Lowered side boards provide good manoeuvrability and lowered stern boards ensure good course stability.
One system is designed for the planing version of the yacht:
-with an inboard engine with a Z-type gearbox and power from 155 to 280 hp. In the planing version, the planning hull is without a keel. To ensure good manoeuvrability at low speeds of the yacht, side boards are designed at the front of the yacht. Stern boards are designed to ensure course stability. In this case, the draft of the yacht will be 0.3/0.8 m. The boards are handled from the helm position.
Further more, two versions of the interior are possible:
- Standard – with a French, centrally situated bed in the forepeak
- Luxury – with an additional head with shower and toilet, and a double berth on the starboard side in the forepeak.
We are also open for requests from our customers concerning the interior layout. The helmsman on a HABER 33 Reporter has a very comfortable position outside, from which they have very good visibility. It is also possible to cover the cockpit add an extra steering position inside or on the roof of the superstructure.
The HABER 33 Reporter yachts operate on inland-, and coastal waters. They are ideally suited for canal and river-cruising and easy to handle in locks etc.
A HABER 33 Reporter is not only a means of transportation: It is a way of life!
